Overall Thoughts
Hey Ya'll,
It's Emily Dillender. I don't know most of you so I will try to describe myself for you. If you were in East St. Louis last year, I was the lights-out girl in the classroom with Sister B's fort. LOL I also designed the wardrobe for Sister's goodbye performance. This year, I was in the ICD skit (Friday night) I was the sick wife in the wheelchair. Hopefully, that helps. OH, I was in the Fers work group and the Defibulators (family). Anywho, about my question. This is going to be tough so prepare yourself and I know it is the summer which means it is illegal to think when school is not in session, but 'what are ya gonna do'? (rhetorical question, NATHAN!) Allrighty, what is the most important thing (only one thing) that you got out of Project Life? And to make it easier for the Veterans, you can have one reason for each year you went on Project Life.
I will start, since it is my question. Last year was my first year and I don't know about most of you, but I didn't really get into my faith until my freshman year of high school. (I am going to be a junior at Fort Zumwalt North.) Last year, it was so amazing to see teenagers, the future of our country, so passionate about something. And that something just so happens to be the most important thing, our faith. It brings me to tears just to see everybody worshiping our Lord. And this year (you can ask anyone at ICD) I was a little disappointed to hear that so many people were coming. But over all I say it was pretty awesome. And I am glad that many people got to experience this. This year, I realized that we are so accepting to people. I mean, afterall, we are one family.
I hope to see ya'll soon. Sorry it was so long. Maybe later this year we could have a PL 2004 reunion. Well just lemme know what you think!
Emily :)
All I can say is that I feel even more closer to God than ever before in my entire life. That's all I can really say.

Love the question! Kudos to you.
Project Life 2004...what hit me deepest...
Okay this is weird, but I always worry that our world is coming to an end soon because the people in charge are doing such a lousy job. However, it is functions like Project Life, in which TEENAGERS selflessly donate a week of their time to help others and grow in faith, that reassure me that global society will improve.
Thanks for being you (and yes I am talking to you). Stay close to Christ.
